Summer Lovin'

A lunch time picnic is so much fun with friends. Maks, Aurora, and Charlie had a great day playing together.

A Work in Progress

So, although I did not like or really enjoy some of my drawings from the last challenge, I did like doing something creative everyday. The 30 Day Drawing Challenge forced me
to spend some time with just me and my art. Over the years, I have come to the realization that my art work is important for me. The process of creating is a form of therapy for me and therefore a great way to de-stress.

So, I have found another challenge to complete. This one is a sketchbook filled with 100 pieces. I know, it sounds a little daunting but it can be done at your own speed. There is no rush to have one drawing done a day. I can spend more time on the drawings that I feel need more work or that I am really enjoying. Each drawing will have a theme but I am going to leave the materials completely "up in the air". That will continue to feed my need for more Sharpie pens and let me continue to experiment with whatever materials I can find.
The first drawing is LOVE. I have been working on this piece over the last two nights and I have been loving every minute of this work. I am sure that most of you have already clued into my passion of doodling and Sharpie pens.
